Please interpret my weird dream?

i had a dream just last night about a person that i have never met or even seen before in real life, but i know shes real bc ive seen her on tv and magazines and stuff, but i feel liek i need to meet her in real life, like i need to tell her things that she needs to hear, but last night i had a dream that she had liek a different haircut and she asked me how does it look, and she has sad eyes because she is a lonely person in real life, and i like put my hands up to touch her hair and i just said its pretty, its very beautiful, your always beautiful and she just looked at me with the most beautiful, sad blue eyes, she always looks sad and she was just looking at me and then i just grabbed her and hugged her bc i felt i needed to,but when i hugged her it was like she wasnt there, it was liek my arms went through her. and i was confused in the dream. it felt soo real like we met subconsiously while we were both sleeping felt like more than a dream.what do you think that dream meant????

Help! I need pictures to show my hairdresser!?

I've decided I'm going to get my hair cut to a medium or a medium short length which is a big step for me because I've always had long hair. Now I don't want it to mess up and be completely not what I wanted so I was wondering if you guys had any good pictures or sites that have good pictures of girls with medium to medium short hair in layers, with bangs. If you do know of anywhere i can get good pictures could you please post a link.

Also I currently can't go out and get a magazine so I need to print off pictures.

A really good site is beautyriot.com. It has plenty of pictures that you can print out. In fact, that's what I did! I had long hair and decided to chop most of it off for summer. I found this ultra cute pic of Ashlee Simpson and brought it to Great Clips and the hairdresser cut my hair just like that! I hope your hair turns out great!

I just got the cut. I want to know how to get my layers to flip.

Should I buy that textuize stuff( i see it on comercial)?

Any product I should buy?

How Do I stlye my hair like this..?

well you just need to blow dry it with a round brush or even a vent brush. I like to use Redkens Guts to blow dry it because it looks in the style. It will help the layers stand out the way you want also. you should get the swoop bangs too and blow dry w/ the round brush in the crown area. Hope I helped. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers. ps. I don't know what that girl is talking about, You can get your hair to look like celebs if you have the right stylist and use the right products. pps. Pantene is the worst brand for you hair and will make your hair worse then anything you can do to it.

How Do I stlye my hair like this..?

hehe I love it when people want their hair just like celebs. Not trying to be mean but Ashley Simpson has teams of stylists. You can try to achieve the look by flipping your layers with some hairspray like pantene flexi-hold

How Do I stlye my hair like this..?

straighten it then blow dry it

How Do I stlye my hair like this..?

i would us a flat iron and some sculpting mad and finger the pieces of the ends and make sure you use some press it. and if for a flat iron.

Please help me?!?!?

first of all u need barber siccors....two types...the kind where one side looks almost liek a comb and the other side looks liek a normal scissor side...the second pair should jsut be normal straight cut barber scissors...

when cutting hair wet, you should always cut an inch longer then ur desired length because when u blow dry it, it is a different length. also u can always recut after u blowdry...

start with sectioning the front to see how much of it you want to be bangs...then blunt cut it to one inch longer then the desired length...use ur second pair of scizzors (comb scissors) to wisp off the edge so it isnt just a straight line across... start one inch above and snip down...

next start on your layers...and i am hoping you know how to do layers or else you really shouldn't be cutting the hair at all.... but just in case...guidelines are to start at the desired length and work down...you should know what scissors to use and when...from the pictures provided it looks like you should be doing steps so don't confuse it with striaght layering

final step is to let it air dry until it is damp.... spray volumizing spray on the roots of the crown....tease and blow dry the crown set with hair spray...

use a one inch curling iron to curl 1- 1 1/2 inch sections of hair ...hold it for 10-20 seconds each and let it fall

set with a loose spray (not a strong hold...maybe a medium hold) and ur pretty much all set =)

good luck and i hope it goes well...

How do you use Velcro curlers?

I have naturally curly/wavy hair, but I don't like the way my natural curls look. I read in a magazine that velcro rollers are a good way to get large curls, but ever time I've used them my hair comes out straighter then before. I think the problem is I don't know how to unroll the curlers, but I've never used curlers before and have no clue how to use them.

How do you use Velcro curlers?

my hair is exactly the same

and i use velcro rollers too!

i use them to calm my hair down though..

i put them under the strand of hair (the inside) and roll...i know that when i've put them on the outside of my hair my hair turned out curly/bouncy......so maybe you should try that?

hope this helps

oh and btw, since ur new with rollers (though you'll probably already know this): take a section of hair about 3 inches wide (depending on the size of your rollers), comb it straight, put the roller at the bottom of the hair and roll the roller up, then clip it into place on your head (but clip it inside the roller, not on the outside of your hair, this always leaves a dent for me) :)

How do you use Velcro curlers?

Good question! How Do you? I have problems using them also!

Fed up with magazines/media obsession with WEIGHT?

Seriously though, I think one needs to ask ones self, why are we all sooo CONSUMED day in, day out with whether we're too fat or not, whether we have too much cellulite or whether our skin, nails, hair, makeup, style, colour, smell, walk is just not PERFECT enough! There was a time, the last year or so where I was totally depressed constantly about the fact I wasn't perfection, but I asked myself, "Hey Vicky, before you started buying into those magazines and the media turned papperatzi you were enjoying life, you were happy with you and so were others, but since then you've been self-obsessed, with a tint of self-loathness...Why are you doing this to yourself?" Why was I? Why are YOU? Infact why is every woman in the ******* country letting celebrities and stupid hypocritical journalists (who are probably overweight %26amp; have many flaws) letting people become so full of hate towards themselves. It's a real shame %26amp; I'm constantly seeing it. Why can't we just be healthy?*sighs*...Opinions?

Fed up with magazines/media obsession with WEIGHT?

How I agree with you, and would'nt it be wonderful if all the brainwashed teenagers could wake up and smell the coffee, just be themselves and enjoy this great life and grab it by the short and curlies.

Fed up with magazines/media obsession with WEIGHT?

I completely agree with you.

It's complete codswallop, what kind of example are we setting to the next generation? pathetic.........

Fed up with magazines/media obsession with WEIGHT?

I don't believe magazines are solely to blame for the pressure women put on themselves. They play a part yes but so does your environment and the way your brought up. I have suffered from an eating disorder half my life and would not say magazines or celebrities influenced this, but it doesn't help seeing all these severely underweight celebrities being praised for their style and for having the so called perfect figure. Us women are the ones who beat ourselves up over it we need to learn to accept what we're given and to be happy in our own skin. I've done the whole size 0 thing it did not make me happy, I'm now a size 8/10 with cellulite may I add and can honestly say I have never been happier or received more male attention in my whole life.

Fed up with magazines/media obsession with WEIGHT?

Please don't feel qualified to speak for all women. I do not identify with how you feel. Images in magazines are air brushed and I am not impressed with celebrities. I think it is mainly a question of growing up.

Break please?

So here's my long complicated hair story. My hair is soo incredibly thick. And on top of that it's really frizzy. I hate it. And last year i cut it to my shoulders, now its about an inch and a half past my shoulders. And it's really unhealthy from dying it. I've given it a break now and it's growing a little more. But the only way I'm happy is if I straighten it, which takes about an hour and a half everyday. I need a break from that, and I want my hair to be long, wavey, and healthy like it was a couple years ago. When I try to do that I brush it the second i get out of the shower and let it air dry with some product in it. But after its dry, if I brush it, it poofs up. I just read a magazine that said I could put it into loose braids and then once its almost dry take some product and piece it out. I'm doubting that. So, is there anything more or anything else I can do to that it dries a little bit shinier and I can piece out in wavey strands with some product?

Break please?

yah.

People who died from the plague would be burned to reduce the spread of the disease ("ashes, ashes, we all fall down").

Someone!!! Dermatology question!?!?

I will make this short.. i have extremely sensitive skin. every time i touch something metallic that is not pure gold i break out in a rash that can take a month to heal. plus every kind of lotion seems to irritate my skin in the same manner. did i mention that razorblades make me break out in a major rash? like extreme razor burn. anyways ive been trying lotion hair removers for my legs and i cant find anything!! i just tried Epil-stop, something i saw in a magazine and it hurts so bad!! does anyone know of a way to remove leg hair without using metal or harsh chemicals? anything that might help is appriciated!!!

Thank you

Someone!!! Dermatology question!?!?

Have you tried using a shaver instead of a razor? If you want to keep using razors, make sure they are sharp and use a good amount of shave gel. For the rash, you can try hydrocortisone cream. If that isn't strong enough, you may want to go to the dermatologist for something stronger. If you can afford it, you can do laser hair removal. I did this for my underarms because they broke out every time I shaved. It is not cheap, but it is permanent. If you catch it on sale, you can usually get the underarms done for about $49 per treatment, and it normally takes 4-6 treatments, but I have had 7 and still need more. The legs will be very expensive, probably around 200 per treatment. So for them, you might want to try one of the electric shavers, I just sit on the bed and shave my legs with those, and have no trouble with razor burn.

Someone!!! Dermatology question!?!?

I also have very sensitive skin...I,m allergic to shaving creme^.^...Anyway I use Avenno products and they are not that harsh on my skin . Although most of their shaving products are 6 bucks and up , but they are expensive for a good reason ; they work!!!!

Someone!!! Dermatology question!?!?

try homemade alternatives, they're all natural and you know what's in them...fairly inexpensive too

True beauty?

A thought came to me when I was eating this dry bagel and unsweetened coffee about how commercial beauty truelly is. The magazines and movies make people think that the only way that they can be beautiful is to fit an image to make them buy a product that they have. You have to be skinny, so you buy diet pills, exercise equipment, and gym memberships. You have to have your hair a certain way. I am short so I have a closet of pumps. Do any of you agree that "beauty" is a concept that big business have came up with to make us feel compelled to buy thier products? In your eyes what is true beauty?

True beauty?

Thanks for the question... I get depressed about my outlooks all the time. Nowadays guys even say (I read it everyhwere) that they don't like big breasts, and that they just loove skinny girls (yes, I probably read stupid stuff). I feel really bad about this.

What about real beauty nowadays? What about being feminine? Is it just not important any more, or let's say it's just not fashionable? How far will we go with this stupid only the stereotypical girls are pretty thing? What's wrong with people...

As I read your question and the answers to it, I feel happy...happy to know there are still people left who agree with me and see things the same way!

True beauty?

I believe it all the way!

True beauty?

Woman was created to be pleasing to, and keep the company of man. There is no woman totally lacking beauty. There is nothing more beautiful on this world than the woman.

True beauty?

In my eyes, truly beautiful people are the ones who come into a room 'shining' and interestrf in everyone and everything around them. When speaking to you they're not looking around to see if someone more exciting is walking by... they are really paying attention to you and who you are. You can't help but be drawn to people like this... the truly beautiful people.

True beauty?

Looking at my Harley sparkle at night and twinkles off that chrome.

True beauty?

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

True beauty?

I think that true beauty is whats inside a person, their heart, personality!! Thats true beauty!!

True beauty?

ABSOLUTELY!!! I used to be a "product queen", too. Although, I am starting to buck the system now. I think a woman can be beautiful without all of the products. In fact, I have several friends who do not buy all of these things and are quite beautiful. celebrate yourself by not falling prey to the beauty companies telling you what/how you should look!!!! great question!!

True beauty?

yes i agree that is what they want i believe true beauty is in the eye of the beholder everyone has there idea of what true beauty is so i have made the decisions to just be my self and not worry about what people think i should be

True beauty?

I believe it all the way

True beauty?

I think true beauty is found in a person who is happy and secure with who they are. True, beauty is also partially a superficial look that comes naturally, but I believe it can be enhanced with things like makeup and hair dye. I agree with your idea that big business creates what true beauty is "supposed" to look like to drive us to make them money by purchasing their products, but that beauty lacks a personality, a brain, and the wholeness of a person.

True beauty?

True beauty is the complete person - you have to look beyond their facial features and body structure. You check out their personality; their opinions - ways of thinking; do they help/assist people for no return favors; are they lively - fun to with; are they true to themselves. These are some of the things I look at in a person. I have a full range of people that I hang out with - they don't fit a "mold" - they are themselves and I think they are all beautiful in their own ways.

True beauty?

true beauty is a good honest person that doesnt lie or cheat or steal. beauty is what you have on the inside. but when you know you have it other people pick up on it and want to be around you.

True beauty?

yea i definately believe that because true beauty is really just being yourself and doing whats right. True beauty is natural...not manufactured or pounded with makeup.

True beauty?

I don't agree, no. "Beauty" was already there--businesses just use it to capitalize off of, now.

True beauty is something that is not easily defined--personally, I think it depends on the individual.

My view of true beauty is that it's in caring for someone else--whether it's a pet, a best friend, family, or a significant other. I guess that's why there's been so much literature written about love.

True beauty?

I agree with you. Beauty is not what is the outside, because you cant control what you were born to look like. Beauty is whats inside. It your personality!

5. continue taking small sections of hair and spraying and repeating the process

How do i get this hair style?

With irons ans super hold!

How do i get this hair style?

Just use a thick-ish curling iron, then spray lightly with hair spray and pull gently down while it's still a little warm until its as wavy as you want it.

How do i get this hair style?

You have to use curlers and sleep on them. Curling irons won't work.

How do i get this hair style?

hairspray and a crimper or curling iron or go 2 a salon

What is with the obsession with trying to look like other people?

Seriously...I just open a magazine and it's like "get angelina's lip", "get jessica simpson's hair" blah blah blah.

So we have to have huge lips to be beautiful? Can't we have our OWN lips?

Everyone is beautiful in their own special way!

What is with the obsession with trying to look like other people?

Because the average person feels more important if they look like a celebrity.

Some suggestiong?

Some suggestiong?

Go to your hairdresser and they will teach you how to do it. I've done this a lot.

Some suggestiong?

I would suggest not to wear the bandana. just do a small comb flip at the front. So then you can have a nice wavey style like hers.

Some suggestiong?

no it looks gross

Some suggestiong?

ARE YOU ON CRACK??? THAT HAIR STYLE IS JACKED UP. DON'T DO THAT ****. DO SOMETHING ELSE.

P.S.- No hard feelings

Some suggestiong?

put your hair in a pony tail then stick a pencil through the hair you want in a puff and pull on the pencil a little bit and then add the bandana. hope it helped i like her hair too. it resembles the gwen stefani puff but with the bandana. =)

Some suggestiong?

why don,t you ask the lady selling the productthey are payed to think about thing like that guys don,t have a clue about fashion.

Some suggestiong?

part out front section of hair. get a piece of false hair and stuff it underneath then pull your real hair over it to give it that buff effect (the higher you want the buff the more hair you put underneath) then pull up your entire hair in a ponytail then tie on the bandana if you want to

What can I do?

What can I do?

Go to your salon for a deep penetraiting conditioning treatment, have your hair thinned out and then you can use gel on your hair when its wet, rub a little in all over and comb it through. Dry it scrunching it and it should look at bit healthier!

What can I do?

Wow! First off, I think you should get some kind of damage treatment at the salon or investment in some good deep conditioner (like Kerastase.) As for the product, you should buy TRESemme curling mousse. It works very well for my thick, semi-wavy hair. All you have to do is take 1-3 golf ball sized dollops and scrunch throughout hair. After that, DO NOT TOUCH IT!!! It will frizz if you do. And do not brush wet hair; all that leads to is more damaged because hair breaks very easily when wet; it has more elasticity. All you have to do is comb it with a wide-toothed comb or a special shower comb.

Has anyone tried this product?

its called Hair+ (hair plus). it a shampoo and conditioner line that claims to help hair get thicker, longer, and bouncier in just one month.....has anyone tried it or know someone who has? does it really work? i was just going through a magazine and saw it...

Has anyone tried this product?

never heard of it

Has anyone tried this product?

Try Farouk's Power Plus!! I have seen cancer patients get their hair back!! Hair + is a fraud!!

Has anyone tried this product?

sorry i have not heard or tried it before.

Has anyone tried this product?

TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IF IT IS THAT GOOD, NOBODY WILL NEED HAIR TRANSPLANT WHICH COST A LOT OF MONEY OR SPEND BIG BUCK FOR HAIR PRODUCT.

Okay, Michelle can't possibly know Nick. Otherwise, she would know that he and the rest of the band are really some of the most down to earth guys. They have not let fame go to their heads at all. I just really want to stick up for Nick here, because I know he is a good guy and I don't like to see people writing untrue things about him.

Malnourished?

I personally think I am the perfect body shape, so please do not jump to a bunch of demands that I should love myself the way I am. I know I have a nice body and I am content with it. But lately my hair has been falling out; not like tons but more than normal. Like when Im in the shower washing my hair, my hands are like all twisted in fallen out hair. And I have not had a period in like 4-5 months; I am not pregnant either. I read in a magazine that all these problems could be caused from being malnourished. Is that like certain nutrient problems or just not eating enough in general? I work really hard, and eat like 1000 calories a day, but I cant eat anymore.

Malnourished?

I'm answering you to this question b/c I've confronted to the same issue. You may see it from my first question here on Yahoo. I was facing a real problem cuz I was very slim, wanted to be more shapely and even though i was eating 3000 calories a day, no result was noticing.

I became very worried, cuz the doctors I asked told me that there might have been a hormonal issue and most of them didn't dare to prescribe me any medicine cuz they were afraid of the side effects. They only suggested me I could try some oral contraceptive, but without prescription.

At first i was scared, but i couldn't endure to look like a 16 year old girl when i was 22.

So I tried this treatment and started to eat more. At first I couldn't endure to eat fatties, b/c my body was accustomed to a vegetarian way of living, the one i'd used before the treatment.

But eating healthy is the best way to improve your metabolism. I mean try to eat all kind of aliments in a same quantity and avoid commercial food.

If you are busy and have no time to cook for yourself, you may order something good from a restaurant. And another thing i recommend you: do not miss you sleep hours.

Do not expect results come up in a month or two. I've been doing this treatment for one year and a half and the first results came up after 6 months. But now i can say i am a healthy person that will never neglect her body for any reason.

Malnourished?

:) cute Report It

Malnourished?

F U!

Malnourished?

Try getting some multiple vitamins. Sound to me like you may be stressed. Stress has those same symptoms also.

Malnourished?

i used to eat 600 calories a day for about 5 months and i also lost my period for 6 months. I didnt lose any hair tho. Your definitely not eating enough. And since your worried about your caloric so much you prolly have a control issue with food. Go see a nutritionist theyll tell you how much you should eat and what you should eat. It helped me. I know how it is trust me ive been there =)

Malnourished?

go and see a doctor. its better to get the right answers instead of just guessing whats wrong with you

Malnourished?

Goto a homeopath and your problem will be solved.

Malnourished?

ok, firstly how old are you? If you're an adult then 1000 cal a day is NOT enough to fuel your body and keep it healthy. The fact that your periods have stopped and your hair is thinning out are MAJOR warning signals.

Get your a** down to the doctors and get some real advice on how much you should be eating to maintain a healthy body.

I'm not kidding, you could be in real trouble if you don't do something NOW.

Malnourished?

These are the same type of symptoms that someone with anorexic gets.

Not saying you are, but if you are only on 1000 calories a day and working really hard then it's possible that you could be heading that way, maybe not mentally but definitely physically.

Go talk to a doctor, get yourself checked out.

When someone is on a diet they shouldn't be eating less than 1200 calories a day, but you are below that and not on a diet, this is not good for you.

Go see a doctor asap or start eating more, more small meals and snacks during the day.

Malnourished?

sometimes its not how much you eat its what your eating. depending on your height and wieght you may actually be under weight which then would mean you are malnourished. try some vitamin pills. my hair did that a lot at one point and finally stoped shedding so much, i think it happens to everyone. the period issue tho i wud go to a doctors because that is way to long to have gone without one.
