I read a magazine, and it said if you listen to music (like in headphones from an ipod or an mp3 or things like that) and you cant hear the person 3 feet away from you, then it like stuns the hairs in your ear, and somehow you go deaf. Is that true? Give me your oppinion if you tink its true or notttt. =)
Does listening to music actually make you deaf?
yes.
if you listen to ipod headphones at full-blast, by age 25 you'll have the hearing of a 89 year old. (a news special)
and if the sound is at or above 75d., you'll go deaf, and at or above 100, it'll kill you.
the head phones that go over your ears (the cd player ones) protect your ears more, adn are a LOT safer
