Some background - my friends are all girls and we like the same movies, tv shows, magazines, etc. I love playing w/makeup and hair - and going shopping w/my girlfriends. So, my college roommates wanted me to let them help me out w/trying to dress like a girl - and I love it! I've dressed the past couple of nights and I think I look good - but I'm really scared. Tomorrow, they want to take me to the salon for the works - nails, make-up, hair style. Do you think the ladies that work there will be ok? The customers? I went to the mall last night - I got my ears pierced, yay - and everthing was fine.

they will think you are gay.

I kind of think you are gay.

then they will do your hair and be friendly to you.

they just want to get paid...they don't care how you act....but be nice because one of them could "accidentally" cut your hair or something.

dude nothings worse than hiding anything. u should be proud tht ur girls would want u to do it then someone else. just hold ur chin up high and walk in!

if they make an issue out of it, tell them you and the girls will spend your money elsewhere. Then say "shame, we are such good tippers" then walk out with ur head held high, and find a more mature/proffessional salon. or skip it and find a saloon

Do it! I've never met a guy who would even THINK about going into a salon! Don't care what everyone else thinks. Just be yourself! (Cheesy, I know!) If you wanna do it, DO IT.

No i think its fine as long as your comfortable alot of posh salon like men clients and besides getting your nails done is very relaxing !!! have fun !!!
