Why do people hate on, dismiss, and get frustrated with people who like fashion, LA/NY, pop culture,

I love fashion, pop culture, LA/NY, basically all of that, and I swear to you, unfortunately since I live in New Jersey which is far removed from those scenes of Hollywood and Manhattan, (though strangely you'd think they'd be more welcoming),

people just look at me ilke wtf, they don't get it. They either get totally frustrated with me,assume I'm a total frivolous waste of space retard that shouldn't exit, hate on me, and just all sorts of reactions.

I either get people to laugh at me and think I'm some kind of a joke, or the whole "sigh, grow up," thing, or the frustration thing.

What's wrong with dying your hair, being into fitness, fashion, cosmetics, hair, and the whole 9?

I literally look like I walked out of a fashion magazine, and I absolutely love that.

I alsso have a real life, car, relationship house, I'm not a retard, graduated from college, work.

Yet, pepole just judge you on your outsides and they don't get me here. Should I move? It's not ME, it's THEM.

Why do people hate on, dismiss, and get frustrated with people who like fashion, LA/NY, pop culture, etc?

first i want to say i am a make up artist who just moved from ny to nj ... so i get what your talking about, but the fact of the matter is... the whole fashion industry thing is non- invoid .. it really doesn't do any thing to help the human race as a whole so most people wont understand ur love for it. it helps to create an illusion, it aides in creating a mass society of delusional people ... you may think "wow all this coming from a make up artist"... why not. i know what is is to be in the life. if you don't know who you are and what you stand for you will be sucked in.. sorry but it is what it is

Beauty products?

consumers digest has a magazine that tests and rates cars and appliances and so on. the funds for the research and the printing of the magazine comes from the consumers purchasing it. all this has nothing to do w/ the companies paying them to pick there own product by bribes, advertisements and etc. My question is this: are there any such magazines, webs etc. that offer the same honest tests and results on beauty products such as wrinkle creams, shampoos, conditioners, etc. and the ingredients that really are the best? I absolutely 100% know and believe that NAME BRAND PRODUCTS are simply that, JUST A NAME YOU ARE PAYING FOR. Even the "testimonies" from so called dermatologists are B.S. They are paid to say what they say. Also, if alcohol is the worst thing for your hair, why is it the second ingredient, after water, in every conditioner on the shelf? Even the $40.00 ones? Go look at yours.

Beauty products?

I don't know of any such thing, but I wish they did have something like that....on a personal note, I have tried all types of beauty products and hair products...I can tell a difference in such things as cleansers and moisturizers....I use Mary Kay and it is the ONLY thing that has not broken me out....as far as shampoos and stuff, I like the Aussie brand and they are not expensive...

Beauty products?

not all shampoos have alcohol in them, i trust arbonne and have been using their products for a while now and they are all natural the best part,so you have any doubts ask this lady she can give you product lists

Hey yong and restless fans?

Heather the new D.A.

came across a picture in the magazines like family circle or good houskeeping..there is a picture of a model for dieting system called Akavar 20/50

she looks to be early 20,s hec even younger...lucky her and she is in a black bikini swimsuit with her hair wet and pulled back..this is her YES? same mole on the upper lip and her face is just unique anyways...take a look....It is soooo her if not she has a major twin...

Hey yong and restless fans?

Maybe I need to see the print ad because I don't think that this is her.....

http://www.akavarfacts.com/category/akav...

Hey yong and restless fans?

yes. this is her yes. why yes it is. yes.

Hey yong and restless fans?

YES. If we reverse things, a person taking Akavar will find that it is easy to pass up the late night snack, the second trip to the buffet line, or the urge to "biggie size" their meal.

Hey yong and restless fans?

I don't think it's her

Hey yong and restless fans?

I just looked at the link that Nikki so kindly provided. She doesn't look that much like the actress that plays Heather. And this woman doesn't even have a mole. The actress that plays Heather has a HUGE mole by the left corner of her lip. (When you are facing her it would be on YOUR right). So no this obviously isn't the same person.

Hey yong and restless fans?

She is hotter than the hubs of hell but her character makes her into a B word.

Hey yong and restless fans?

I just looked at the link Nikki provided and didn't see any model, only a picture of legs from the knees down standing on some scales in the upper corner... where can I see the model you all are talking about?

Hey yong and restless fans?

I just googled "Akavar 20/50", and saw the pic you are talking about.

As pretty as she is, it is Not the girl who plays Heather.

Heather is young, but has a much more square face, and longer jaw line. She also has rounded ears, where the models ears dip in a little to form corners at the top.

And if you look closer, the mark you thought was a mole on her lip is only a shadow of the girls nose, since it is rectangular and hangs down over her lip. Also, "Heather"s eyes are closer to her eyebrows; the models eye brows and eyes are farther apart.

I hope I could have helped.

What does my dream mean?

I am flicking through a magazine.

There is an article about beards. The spread shows `before` and `after` shaving photos. There are pages and pages of these photographs.

Then I am in the offices of the magazine. I appear to work there. I am interviewing a bearded men about his beard. He is very obese, with magnificent facial hair. He is telling me about his shaving method.

To demonstrate, he gets a small shiny silver razor out of his pocket and starts to shave, right there in the office. He starts on the side that is facing away from me so i can`t really see it, but then i notice splats of blood are flicking everywhere.

"Stop!" I say. I try and restrain him, but now he is dragging the blunt blade deep across his skin, ripping his face, tearing the delicate flesh. He is pyscotic, he will not be stopped. Everyone at the magazine is hysterical.

Next, the crazy man starts slashing his belly with the razor. I feel sick. everyone is screaming. I can't remember anymore.

What does my dream mean?

Maybe you have someone close, or not who you think is going crazy who you think is slowley going mad and your worried about them. Maybe there not going mad or not but your just really worried about them.

What does my dream mean?

uhm...maybe youre afraid to shave?

What does my dream mean?

Wow! Cool dream! Watch many horror flicks?

What does my dream mean?

I dont know what the dream means, but that would make one Heck of a Movie.... I can see it now

Psycotic Bearded Magazine Men~coming soon to a theatre near you.

What does my dream mean?

Ummm...are u serious or are u just trying to be weird?

What does my dream mean?

Dreams are interpreted taking into account ones life / experiences / background / etc. The most appropriate person to interpret your dream is you!

There are many kinds of dreams! I'll give you a few examples:

There are times when you just dream mixed up episodes of your daily life (persons, places you've visited, actions, movies that you've watched etc).

Other dreams reveal what is hidden in your subconscious (things like hidden desires, fears, censored feelings etc). This is another good way of analyzing yourself.

There are also premonitory dreams and dreams about past events (ones you knew nothing about).

What does my dream mean?

1st, all things in your dream represents you. the magi zine rep. brief portion of your life and the office is where your daily work or productivity occur. beard (hair) rep. assertive strength and and masculinity. obese man site hiding from true self; poor self image; suppressed emotions, negativity and anxiety. man is stranger, rep. unknown or unfamiliar part of self. him shaving is robbing yourself of strength and masculinity. shaving on side you can't see (I'll guess left side if face...left rep loosing or giving, right is always receiving) is temporary lack of awareness to your waking situation. blood loss is loosing energy, left side of face, loosing giving away energy. cutting belly...stomach is emotional barometer and how you are digesting life. you felt sick, to stomach?? all the office works (all rep you) are trying to help. you are allowing someone or thing to drain and rob you of your assertiveness and or masculine energies and you and every part of yourself (office workers) are unable to stop the robbery. how are things at your work or in close relationship(s)....feralfem1

What does my dream mean?

Are you upset because you cannot grow "magnificent facial hair".

Maybe you envy him.

What does my dream mean?

Looks like you have some sort of fear about men with beard , and perhaps fat people in particular. This fear lurks into your mind and you vent this out in dream. However it has some sort of hidden meaning.

Beard needs to be shaved = something needs to be correct

Being shown how to shave or shaving method = seeking for guidance.

In reality, you may be seeking for some sort of guidance in life. However, you may be afraid of asking for help. Perhaps, this is due to self esteem. Projecting a obese man with beard trying to show you how to shave and yet you are reluctant to see because you have this conflict feeling about taking advice from others. It could be because in many ways it is hard for you to be humble. That may be your weakness and you vent out all your fear and conflict feelings

What does my dream mean?

Often nightmares are caused by stress, traumatic experiences, emotional difficulties, drugs or medication, or illness. However, some people have frequent nightmares that seem unrelated to their waking lives. Recent studies suggest that these people tend to be more open, sensitive, trusting, and emotional than average.

What does my dream mean?

I WOULD CALL THAT A BAD DREAM.

What does my dream mean?

look like someone doesnt like shaving ..nothing more

Do you agree with this?

"someone told me that she

sees a lot of good looking pp in asian magazines but not on streets. I

personally don't read asian mags so I don't know much how they look,

but maybe 10,000 pp only 100 are good looking in asia since the genes

that

Asian pp have is dark hair yellow skin short body flat face...In

general,

jst hard to find some original Asian pp have tone tall body and exotic

facial features.

Another pt is, some pp look really good under camera, but when you see

them

in person maybe not much personality to stand out. So maybe you do see

them

on streets but just couldn't do the filter either Asia is too crowded or

Asian

celebs just doesn't look too celeb. And that explained why Barbie is not Asian. And why we never see any

Asian

countries won Miss Universal or Miss

World because they just can't compete with western women in different

levels. Western women are tend to be more calm, and well spoken, but I guess that's due to culture and education as well."

Do you agree with this?

Whoa stereotype monster!

You are running through different stereotypes the same way cookie monster eats.

Slow down, people have different things and characteristics they consider beautiful.

Do you agree with this?

You are filled to the brim with BS.

Do you agree with this?

I say you're being racist

Do you agree with this?

yes. Yes i do agree.

Do you agree with this?

How can it truly be categorized? People all have different views on beauty.

Do you agree with this?

I smell a hint of racial tension and a smidgen of cruel stereotyping

Do you agree with this?

Umm, rrrrrrrright......... NO COMMENT!!

Do you agree with this?

I have never thought about it . I see you have.. Im not sure about agreeing...sorry

Do you agree with this?

Do you agree with this?

Mankind is one.

Their most magnificent beauty lies in their loving hearts.

Do you agree with this?

no, i don't

Do you agree with this?

I disagree with you.

1. Calmer and more educated? How do you explain the behaviors in the Jerry Springer show?

2. There are several Miss Universe winners that are not from the west: Miss India, Miss Japan, Miss Philippines, Miss Thailand to name a few.

Before you claim something, please make sure that your statement is true, Lindsay.

Do you agree with this?

Well, I don't know where she is looking. "Yellow skin"??? Where do you get this stuff? They're not jaundice.

I had a friend who has spent the past year in Thailand and he says that almost all of the asian girls/women there are good looking to great looking, and their features make many of them look younger than they really are.

Is this true guys? Please read-it was an article posted on yahoo. If so, what is your problem?

Reason #1: Saying "yes" to you means saying "no" to the rest of the world

Let's say he asks you to marry him on a Saturday. Then on Monday he's walking to work and a beautiful woman approaches. As a swinging single, he had the freedom to drop a cute one-liner. Now this knockout is off limits.

The bottom line here is your man wonders if you truly are the best person he'll ever meet or just the best person to date.

The bottom line here is your man wonders if you truly are the best person he'll ever meet or just the best person to date. This quandary can stop a waffling guy in his tracks.

The Solution: Face this issue head-on and admit to your man that the world of women does not magically become ugly the moment he puts a ring on your finger. It's okay to find other women attractive, just like you could take note of a cute guy at the gym. The point is you're mutually agreeing to not act on these impulses.

Reason #2: Women in magazines and on TV look so perfect

Thanks to airbrushing and perfect lighting, women in magazines, movies and TV portray an unattainable look. Your man might mistakenly believe these Hollywood starlets wake up in the morning actually looking like this. He then takes one look at you in sweatpants and suddenly develops a new crush on the Revlon model in Cosmo.

The Solution: All you need to do is find a magazine or website that exposes celebrities without their makeup. These candid photos, complete with skin blemishes, non-designer clothes and unkempt hair, will remind your man that celebrities are regular people too. Then book a romantic evening together where you both dress up elegantly.

One look at you in your finest duds and your man will soon realize you too can look like a Hollywood starlet.

One look at you in your finest duds and your man will soon realize you too can look like a Hollywood starlet.

Reason #3: I'm not ready to give up guys' night out (i.e., my fraternity days)

From college to the present, your guy has locked in Friday night with the guys. Sports and drinking dominate the night as does hitting on women. Suddenly Fridays transform into dinners with couples, movie rentals and family gatherings. Your man just might miss his high-flying single days and feel jealous of his unattached buddies.

The Solution: Who says marriage means the end of male friendships? Let your man know he can still get together with the guys -- maybe not every Friday night, but certainly one or two times a month. You can do the same with the girls. Remove the need to hit on members of the opposite sex and you're good to go. Besides, these same-gender relationships are healthy.

Reason #4: Relationships shouldn't require so much work

"All we do is talk." We all know some guys have a penchant for avoiding deep conversation.

Many guys have friends who claim they never fight with their spouses

Many guys have friends who claim they never fight with their spouses, or maybe he had parents who shielded him from marital tension. A few too many challenging conversations and your man may wonder if all the stress is a sign of a bad relationship.

The Solution: Quality communication is all about picking the right moment. A long, difficult day at work is not the best precursor to a difficult conversation. Relaxing on the couch, in a low- stress moment, is a much better option. You can also seek out another couple who is willing to be honest about relationship tension that all couples face. Seeing this other couple deal with the same issues might help him realize you're not alone in facing relationship hurdles.

Reason #5: I'm not sure if the things that bother me about you are deal-breakers

Your man loves 38 things about you, but three things about you really annoy him. He can't decide if the 38 lovable qualities outweigh the three annoyances, or if ultimately those three things will drive him batty.

The Solution: You've got to remind your man that sooner or later everyone has the potential to be annoying. Family, roommates, colleagues and spouses all have qualities that can grate on you from time to time. And here's a news flash: he has some annoying qualities too. Marriage is all about accepting a few flaws for the greater good of an otherwise healthy relationship.

Is this true guys? Please read-it was an article posted on yahoo. If so, what is your problem?

If it's on the enterwebs it must be true.

Ok check this out. i just read a whole page of crap. Retarded, irrelevant crap. Look next time you go to the store look at the cover of any womens magazine.

8 things he loves in bed.

27 ways to look more beautiful.

17 secrets to improving your sex life.

On every cover of every women's magazine. They put crap on there that they KNOW you want to know. Who doesn't want to look better, or be better in bed? This is the same concept just on Yahoo! Stuff that they know you want to know, and in most cases what they are talking about doesn't even apply to anyone.

Just look at their reasons:

1. Saying "yes" to you means saying "no" to the rest of the world. No crap, it also applies to the WOMAN.

2. Women in magazines and TV look so perfect. As they should. They have a small army of professional make up artists. your girlfriend learned from her momma when she was a teenager.

3.I'm not ready to give up "guys night out." I'll give it up when you give up shopping with your friends. Deal?

4. Relationships shouldn't require so much work. They don't. Not the ones that have a snowballs chance in hell of surviving anyway. All they require is commitment and compromise.

5. I'm not sure if the things that bother me about you are deal breakers. What the hell does this mean? Unless the guy is perfection incarnate he shouldn't be talking.

To summarize: Each of these problems that conveniantly cover a small percent of relationships is menial at best. Not big issues by any means.

Is this true guys? Please read-it was an article posted on yahoo. If so, what is your problem?

Too long.

You just posted this twice.

What's your problem. You dislike us that much

Kiehl's is expensive... worth the price?

I have dry skin and hair in the winter, and the drugstore products just aren't enough. I read great reviews of Kiehl's products in magazines. Anyone use their Hand %26amp; Body Lotion, Olive Fruit shampoo/conditioner? Is it worth paying their prices?

Kiehl's is expensive... worth the price?

Yes they are. They do wonders for ones skin. My wife uses the products regularly and she is very happy with the results.
